Download Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 For Free (Full Version)

Sony Vegas Pro is well known as a powerful, yet beginner-friendly video editing program. Boasting several new professional level features and a trio of new plug-ins, Version 13 has a lot to offer, but is it enough to justify an upgrade?
A wide array of video editing software programs dot the post-production landscape these days. They may be simple, inexpensive programs that pretty much do everything for you or they may be very sophisticated and powerful with steep learning curves and a price tag to match. One thing Sony Creative Software has managed to do quite well with their Vegas Pro editor is balance a powerful feature set with a beginner friendly interface and workflow, and a wallet friendly price.

The Basics

Sony Vegas Pro 13 is a timeline-based editor that is fairly easy to learn and use. If you are already familiar with version 12 you will find that little has changed, except for the addition of a few new pro features, which we’ll cover later. Some of the functions formerly located on an upper toolbar have been moved beneath the Timeline, bringing oft used tools a little closer to the action. Five new edit tools are accessible from this new toolbar: Shuffle, Slip, Slide, Time Stretch/Compress and Split Trim. These functions were previously available via the keyboard but may now be accessed using clickable icons. A few improvements have also been made to project archiving wherein all the media files related to a project are saved into one location, included nested timelines.

Pro Stuff

The real differences lie in the professional features that have been added to this new version. Remember the good ol’ days of having to jockey the volume buttons on the remote control because the commercials would come on and blast you out of the room? Well, when an overly loud commercial interrupted a certain congresswoman’s family dinner a few years back, the result was a broadly accepted piece of legislation that became known as the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation (CALM) Act. Television broadcasters are now required to meet certain specific audio guidelines in their broadcasting or face penalties. To facilitate compliance with the CALM Act(link is external) Vegas Pro 13 has introduced Loudness Meters.
Loudness Meters will be a valuable addition for those working in the broadcast market. The average levels of your audio are measured according to the legislated standard so you can easily conform it to the allowed range of loudness units prior to broadcast, saving the broadcaster from costly fines and yourself from an embarrassing re-do.
Also great for the broadcast market, Vegas 13’s Proxy-First workflow can offer some real time saving benefits. If you’re shooting with the right camera (XDCAM footage) and have a Sony Wireless Adapter you can record hi-res files to the in-camera media then wirelessly send lo-res proxies back to your editor, who can download and edit them, while you high tail it back to the station. When you get there, the edited proxy version can be re-linked to the hi-res files and rendered out just in time for the evening news. Pretty cool, huh?
Vegas Pro 13 balances a powerful feature set with a beginner friendly interface and workflow, and a wallet friendly price.
Vegas Pro Connect is an app that allows multiple iPad users to collaborate with one another as they review a project, placing notes and markers directly into the timeline. Offline mode lets them download proxies which they can then comment on in the same way and then later sync their proxy versions back to the master project. To more easily facilitate the process the app also turns the iPad into a gesture activated control pad.
Finally, Vegas Pro 13 includes seven really cool Hitfilm effects from FXHOME such as Bleach Bypass, Light Flares, TV Damage, Witness Protection, and a bunch of goodies from New Blue Fx including Chroma Key Pro, Garbage Matte, Picture in Shape and Saturation EQ. It also includes iZotope Nectar Elements, a mastering tool for your audio crammed full of presets for sweetening and creating special effects.

The Verdict

Sony Vegas Pro 13 is a powerful, affordable editing program. If you don’t already have an editor or are currently using a less sophisticated program and would like to up your game, you can download the trial and take it for a spin. If you are a non-professional user and are already using Vegas Pro 12, then you may want to wait for the next update to come around. Except for the new pro features in version 13, not a lot has changed. If, on the other hand you are a professional user then check out the pro features and see what you think.

Which Game is Better, Call of Duty or Overwatch?

Lots of Peoples are asking that which game is better, Call of Duty or Overwatch? If you are asking the same question then you have visited the right place.
These games are overall too dissimilar that I can't make an accurate comparison. Additionally, there are over 15 installments of Call of Duty, where there is only one installment of overwatch to compare things to.
Overall there are there main aspects to most (by most I mean 99% of) Call of Duty games. You have a Campaign (Single Player Story), a Multiplayer with multiple modes (such as TDM and CTF), and a round based game mode like Zombies.
In overwatch there is really only one aspect of the game, the multiplayer. Barring some very intricate and interesting lore, there are no other actual aspects of the game that you, the player, can experience in the game.
Focusing on the Multiplayer:
Call of Duty has a fast paced multiplayer with an objective that each team has to try to reach first before the other team in order to win. This is based on a point system, and if no one reaches the goal, a timer runs down and the round will end automatically. Additionally, you do not have several characters to choose from that have different abilities like in overwatch, you can just choose from a multitude of guns. A round of multiplayer requires absolutely no communication between teammates, no team composition what so ever, and no strategy period.
Overwatch is similar, however, I find that it is often much slower in terms of action and takes so much more strategy and team composition in comparison to Call of Duty.
Most simply put, Overwatch is basically a giant game of Rock Paper Scissors. Every character is countered by another player and can counter another character. Memorizing these combinations is not necessity, but it is very very essential to performing well in the game.
Overall
Both of these games are very well designed and produced. They are similar in some aspects, while completely different in others.
When in comparison with the “Glory Days” of Call of Duty, I would have to say overwatch is the worse game.
However, when in comparison with the past few installments of Call of Duty, I would have to say overwatch would be the better game.

The best cameras for shooting video

If you are looking for the best cameras for shooting videos, then you have visited the right place.
Here is the list of top 3 best cameras for shooting video

1. Sony Alpha NEX-F3

If you're looking for the cheapest ILC suited for shooting video, my choice is the F3, which runs about $600 for the typical body-plus-18-55mm lens. It's a nice little consumer-oriented camera with manual controls and very nice video quality, plus a lens lineup and autofocus system that works accurately, quickly, and quietly. While the video does display some artifacts, overall it's still better than a similarly priced camcorder; the biggest drawback is that it's interlaced at 1080/60i and there's no 1080/30p. You have to drop down to 24p for the highest-quality progressive option. The NEX-3N replaces the F3 at a cheaper price; it's got a lower resolution LCD which might affect your ability to manually focus, but otherwise I expect similar video to the F3.

2. Canon EOS Rebel T3i

Last year's T3i still ranks as the cheapest dSLR for shooting video without autofocus. At about $600 for the basic kit, the T3i offers the high video quality and all the features an indie videographer on a budget needs, short of time code support and clean HDMI output. However, it has the typical dSLR problem with usable contrast autofocus, making it intrusive and frustrating to use. The EOS 60D(about $700 for the body) is still widely available, and the main reason to consider it over the T3i is its ability to use hacked firmware.

3. Panasonic Lumix DMC GH2

For the video geek on a budget who wants autofocus, this older top-of-the-line model is a great way to buy into a system that will scale with your interest. While new models are almost gone from the market -- and the ones that remain are overpriced -- you might be able to find an affordable used one. The Micro Four Thirds mount has a nice selection of native lenses (including Panasonic's power zoom options and some great fast primes from Olympus), and with an adapter you can pretty much use any lens you'd like. To get the most out of the camera, though, you'll probably want to look into some of the firmware hacks available that deliver more features, increased bit rates, and better video quality. With the subsequent model, the GH3, Panasonic added in a lot of the capabilities provided by the hacks, but it also raised the price to about $1,300 for the body only. (I haven't had a chance to test it yet.)
