Which Game is Better, Call of Duty or Overwatch?

Lots of Peoples are asking that which game is better, Call of Duty or Overwatch?If you are asking the same question then you have visited the right place.

These games are overall too dissimilar that I can't make an accurate comparison. Additionally, there are over 15 installments of Call of Duty, where there is only one installment of overwatch to compare things to.

Overall there are there main aspects to most (by most I mean 99% of) Call of Duty games. You have a Campaign (Single Player Story), a Multiplayer with multiple modes (such as TDM and CTF), and a round based game mode like Zombies.

In overwatch there is really only one aspect of the game, the multiplayer. Barring some very intricate and interesting lore, there are no other actual aspects of the game that you, the player, can experience in the game.

Focusing on the Multiplayer:

Call of Duty has a fast paced multiplayer with an objective that each team has to try to reach first before the other team in order to win. This is based on a point system, and if no one reaches the goal, a timer runs down and the round will end automatically. Additionally, you do not have several characters to choose from that have different abilities like in overwatch, you can just choose from a multitude of guns. A round of multiplayer requires absolutely no communication between teammates, no team composition what so ever, and no strategy period.

Overwatch is similar, however, I find that it is often much slower in terms of action and takes so much more strategy and team composition in comparison to Call of Duty.

Most simply put, Overwatch is basically a giant game of Rock Paper Scissors. Every character is countered by another player and can counter another character. Memorizing these combinations is not necessity, but it is very very essential to performing well in the game.

Overall

Both of these games are very well designed and produced. They are similar in some aspects, while completely different in others.

When in comparison with the “Glory Days” of Call of Duty, I would have to say overwatch is the worse game.

However, when in comparison with the past few installments of Call of Duty, I would have to say overwatch would be the better game.
